RS Recruitment Services is assisting a WHOLESALE ELECTRICAL MANUFACTURING/IMPORT COMPANY, based in the MID RAND JHB to source a JUNIOR CABLE SALES REPRESENTATIVE (INTERNAL).

OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR ALMOST 40 YEARS AND IS LISTED ON THE MAIN BOARD OF THE JSE. THEY OFFER STUDY LOANS TO THEIR EMPLOYEES AND SUPPORT MANY PROJECTS DESIGNED TO UPLIFT LOCAL COMMUNITIES.

APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE/BE THE FOLLOWING:

Matric certificate.
Minimum 1 years’ experience in a sales and marketing environment.
Direct sales experience in the electrical manufacturing industry, an advantage.
Computer Literacy (MS Word and email etiquette) and Numeracy skills
Must pay attention to detail.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.
Strong telephone etiquette
Good administration skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing).

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Direct Customer Sales.
Tender Pricing.
Material and Stock Sourcing.
Creating and maintaining orders.
Prepare quotations on a variety of products.
Provide an internal support function to external sales representative and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Administration and typing.
Maintain documentation record.

REMUNERATION:

R12 500 + commission. Medical insurance (hospital plan) & pension fund, after 6 months’ probation.
