Purpose statement
Implement all related regulatory quality controls and administrative tasks pertaining to the cash management facility.


Primary objective:
- Complete various cash management processes.
- Provide other administrative office support as and when required.

Duties
People
Regular telephonic and electronic interaction with clients, financial advisors and relevant vendors, colleagues and management to ensure the effective delivery of requirements. Responsibilities could include assisting financial advisors with cash management enquiries.

Processes
The Cash management Administrator is responsible for executing daily routine and non-routine work according to administrative procedures within prescribed guidelines, e.g.:

Payments:
- Receiving, verifying and loading payment documentation and the capturing of payments on the various cash management sites
- Following up on outstanding payment requirements
- Confirming client information telephonically
- Preparing daily payment batches for authorization
- Confirming and sending proof of payments to clients
- Keeping record of all payments made or rejected
- Following up on rejected payments
- Daily audit trail preparation and comparisons

Client accounts:
- Receiving, verifying and confirming relevant client documentation in accordance with strict requirements and procedures for the opening of new accounts
- Creating new client account on Investec/Nedbank Corporate Saver and furnishing client with new account detail
- Keeping record of all documentation and information received and accounts opened

General Cash Management administration:
- Requesting, collecting and collating all historical client information in accordance with FICA and legal requirements.
- Collecting and comparing daily balances
- Maintaining all current and new records
- Preparing reports for monthly Operations Meeting
- Preparing ad hoc reports as per divisional requirements
- Other administration - Perform ad hoc administration tasks

Experience:
A minimum of one year experience in the financial services industry
