Our client, an Educational Institute based in Somerset West, requires a Junior Catering Cook to join their Kitchen Team.

Please note: Due to the location and working hours, it is imperative that the successful applicant have their own reliable transport.

Minimum Requirements:

1 – 3 Years previous experience in Cooking
Able to operate at a fast pace
Able to maintain supplies, handle leftovers and keep cooking utensils organised
Able to carry between 15 – 20 kg
Basic understanding of Hygiene & Temperature control
Able to maintain a Hygienic working environment
Able to work according to deadlines set
Have a friendly deposition
A willingness to learn
Adaptable to the needs of the department

Salary on Offer: R 5 000 – R 6 000 p/m
