Mandatory Requirements

The applicant must be able to deliver Change Management deliverables and documentation to the highest standards.
Experience of five (5) – nine (9) years or more within a Business Transformation or Change Management role a definite requirement.

Key Accountabilities

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving and implementing transformation and change to ensure successful enablement of the business. The roles and responsibilities of the junior Change Manager are listed as follows:

• To assist to document the relevant business transformation / change management strategies and plans.
• To define a custom-defined change management approach and methodology for changes initiated by the technology projects.
• To assist with the confirmation of the set of actionable and targeted change management plans – including communication plan, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan and service introduction plan.
• To assist with the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders.
• To assist in the identification of resistance and performance gaps, and assist to develop and implement corrective actions.
• To assist to create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilisation and proficiency of individual changes, including the Evaluation thereof post-deployment.
• To assist to create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.
• To assist the project team to integrate change management activities into the overall project roll-out plan.
• To assist with the training of the users.

Qualifications or Experience
• Appropriate and recognised formal Business or Change or Information Systems qualification.
• Experience of about five (5) – nine (9) years within a business transformation or change management role.
• Experience with large-scale organisational transformation and change a definite requirement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with a determination to help meet client needs a definite requirement.
• Previous experience in Local Government or within a Transport Authority would be beneficial.
