The Copier Technician contributes to the success of the company by providing exceptional customer service and technical support at customer locations within the assigned territory. This role has a strong customer interface and exceptional customer service will be required at all times. Willingness to travel across South Africa essential. A significant amount of time will be spent on the road traveling to and from customer sites.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Analyse malfunctions and run diagnostic testing on equipment at customer sites
• Determine replacement parts required
• Determine cost and availability of replacements parts
• Clean machines and other equipment
• Preventative maintenance
• Building of copier machines to clients specs
• Installing of copiers and printers
• Delivering and installing toner
• Administrative duties: Completing work orders, parts requisitions, daily logs and job cards.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12 Senior Certificate with technical or computer related subjects such as RTT or IT will be an advantage
• General Computer skills
• Experience within office automation will be an advantage
• English verbal and written skills essential
• Valid drivers licence
• Physically able to lift heavy equipment if needed
• Attention to detail
• High level of initiative
• Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
• Proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
