ABOUT THE ROLE
As a summarizer you are responsible for creating short abstracts from articles focusing on the particular points of interest as identified by the client. These are to be written in accordance with Company guidelines. Summarizers must meet the company's volume target on a daily basis.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
* Accurate summarizing of articles in accordance with company guidelines ( available on request)
* Use the Summary screen appropriately, following briefing instructions closely.
* Stay up to date with new changed client instructions.
* Meet the company's accuracy and volume targets.
* Endeavour to constantly increase personal performance.
* Communicate all issues to the appropriate personnel to ensure that problems are picked up early and addressed in a proactive manner.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Communication: Good Verbal and written, and interpersonal skills are essential.
