Are you a recent STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math)
graduate looking to break into the growing field of data science? As a member of our Big Data Science team, you’ll be given the inside track to exciting developments in the field of big data across all sectors and income levels.

We won’t waste your skills making dashboards. With a data store growing at almost one billion unique records monthly, you’ll have access to one of the best data stores in South Africa. You’ll be expected to utilise your expertise to develop practical and disruptive insights to take our client’s business’ to the next level.

Just some of our services include; prepaid electricity aggregation and distribution, ticketing, bulk messaging and USSD management, SIM card distribution, and lead generation and direct marketing. What we’re looking for:

Self-starting STEM graduates with less than 2 years experience in a similar field. You are a dynamic and resourceful thinker who prioritises staying abreast of developments in the field. You need to have a passion for continuously learning new skills and capabilities, a flexible outlook and a passion for revolutionizing modern business.

Mandatory skills:

• Python or R (or anything equivalent)
• Comfortable in a *nix & terminal environment
• Energetic and enquiring mind
• Comfortable finding solutions independently and with minimal guidance

Some experience with either:

• Statistical Modelling
• Mathematical Modelling

• Data Mining
