We’re a fast growing company and we are looking for an experienced Junior Database Developer.

We are seeking to employ a Junior Database Developer who will assist in the support and maintenance of multiple Databases.

You will assume responsibility for the following:
• Develop, administer, support and maintain multiple databases.
• Provide application and user support
• Provide DBA support for development teams
• Perform routine DBA activities for databases
• Perform regular Database health checks
• Perform Database maintenance
• Documenting Database changes
• Writing scripts for reporting requirements
• Backup and Recovery Tests
• Maintaining Systems Documentation Requirements needed
• Matric and Any Related IT Qualification
• Valid drivers license & Own transport
• Must live in Cape Town Skills / abilities:
• Attention to detail
• Customer Service driven
• Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment Experience
• At least 1-2 years experience.
• Experience in maintaining and supporting database applications.
