Salary: R10 000 – R25 000 ctc (excluding performance based bonus)
Location: Bellville
The Junior Developer will be responsible and accountable for analysing business requirements, architecting solutions for these requirements, as well as testing, maintaining and enhancing current systems and applications.
Reporting:
- Reports to the Manager: Software Development
- Assigned to Senior Developer
Duties Include:
- Investigating and documenting business requirements
- Creating functional specifications and test plans from business requirements
- Creating technical specifications from user requirements or functional specification;
- Writing technical documentation
- Designing and writing new software programs and maintaining existing
- Testing new programs and fault finding in existing;
- Investigating new technologies
Requirements:
Minimum Qualification:
- Tertiary education: diploma or degree: NDip IT, BTech IT, BSc IT from recognized SA Technikons or Universities only
Minimum Experience:
- 0-3 years in programming;
- Minimum of 12 months MS SQL Server experience
Essential knowledge of/experience in:
- Solid understanding of: C#, .NET, MS SQL Server (80%), XML, SOAP, SSIS (20%)
- Working knowledge of using relational databases, specifically MS SQL Server including a good understanding of Stored Procedures and WCF (Services)
Desirable knowledge of/experience in:
- Basic understanding of networks
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial systems
- Telephony experience will be advantages
