RS Recruitment Services is assisting a specialised cut and supply steel company in based in Westmead
to recruit a Junior Draughtsman.

Applicants should have/be the following
• Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
• Tertiary qualification as a draughtsman or a Multi-Disciplinary Course – an advantage
• Must be AutoCAD proficient
• Experience in the Mechanical field – an advantage
• Steel drafting knowledge – an advantage
• Able to produce accurate work
• Good communication skills (fluent) in English with a good technical vocabulary
• Sound knowledge and understanding of engineering terms

Key performance areas:
• Learn the preferred style of company drawings and implement them consistently
• Create general arrangement drawings as required
• Detail designs as required
• Work accurately
• Work to prescribed procedures for the department
• Be literate in ‘Inventor’ and ‘Office’ products
• Understand time-based targets and able to work positively towards achieving these

Remuneration:
• R10 000 to R14 000 negotiable (Dependant on qualification & experience)
• Plus, large company benefits after 3 months’ probation
