Purpose of the role:
Our client is urgently looking to appoint a candidate that has knowledge of the agricultural sector and farming equipment.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Receiving requests for system quotes (feeding, drinking, ventilation, flooring etc. for Pig/Dairy/Poultry Farms). These requests will come from the Reps as well as the GM (owner).
• Responsible for generating system quotes for the company on MS Excel and MS Word.
• The quote will be discussed with senior management, for approval
• Maintain the Pricelist (database) on Excel due to price increases
• Must be able to meet quotation Deadlines
• Attention to detail is important.
• Training will be given on the equipment and systems.
• There will probably be a few ad hoc duties that will be added on e.g. circulating the company newsletter; sending manual to clients, sending photos, maybe some technical assistance after the individual has been trained.

Requirements:
• Male
• 26 – 38 years old
• Matric
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excel is a must (especially formulas and understanding of macros etc.)
• Having own transport is an advantage
• Must be able to process requests using Excel workbooks, to complete quotes.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel is crucial.
• Have knowledge and understanding of the exchange rates
• Understanding technical drawing would be a bonus as the position is very technical.
• Must be able to read and understand sketches.
