- 2+ years FileMaker required
- Exposure to FileMaker Server
- Grade 12 plus tertiary software development orientated degree/diploma or equivalent (e.g. B.Com Information Systems etc.)
- Knowledge of PHP, XML, CSS, HTML and SQL desired but not required
- Advanced degree desired, but not required
- Ability to self study
- Design user interface
- Develop user windows, buttons etc.
- Create relevant Databases, Tables & Relationships
- Write required reports for customers
- Meet all requirements and deadlines as specified by the customer
- Work on several development projects at once
- Ensure that client’s needs are met
- Roll out the completed product into a live environment
- Provide support post go live
- Appropriate level of experience within software development & user interface design
- Able to demonstrate a strong numerical competency
- Strong understanding of relationships & databases
- Not afraid to work on a server
- Able to work independently and with others
- Anxious to work on a variety of platforms and products
- Able to handle projects of all sizes and possess strong problem solving skills
- Take pride in being a responsible individual
- Some exposure to business analysis
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy essential
- Customer focused at all times
- Meet very tight deadlines
- Able to work overtime if necessary
- Able to follow systems and procedures
- Ability to work under pressure
