Position available for a Junior Accountant to ensure on-time, accurate and professional execution of financial & management accounting processes.

Requirements:

B Comm degree plus 1-2 years’ experience in a similar
accounting role
Proficient in MS Office Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint (Basic), Word (Basic)
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Intermediate level knowledge of accounting software essential (Pastel a preference)
Interpersonal communication skills
Planning and administrative skills


Some duties:

Preparation of all sales & receivables information from invoicing to trial balance.
Recording of expenses and payments to suppliers.
Processing of cash books and preparation of cash forecasts.
Payroll Administrator
Calculations and submission of VAT returns.
Preparation of income tax information.
Preparation of management reporting.
Audit process preparation for financial and BBBEE audits.
Outstanding payments from debtors
Financial and administrative support to consultants and finance team.
