Job Description:
Junior Fire Detection Technician

To install Fire Systems cabling and wire ways

To Install Fire Systems Control Equipment

To Install Fire System Devices

To Fault Find and commission Fire systems

Ability to understand and interpret fire detection installation designs in order to execute the installation according to specifications

Ability to maintain, fault find and repair existing fire detection installations

Ability to program and commission ire detection installations

Proficient in planning and organising.

Attention to detail.

Risk management skills.

Team player.

Ability to work under tight deadlines in an ever changing environment.

Fast learner and the ability to operate effectively in new environments.

Ability to collaborate as a strong team member in a fast paced environment.

Matric Certificate with Mathematics as a primary subject will be a recommendation

SAQCC registered as a technician

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools

Diploma/ certificate in engineering will be a recommendation

Driver’s License code EB is required
