Location: Boksburg, Gauteng
Offer: R 15,500 + R 2,700 towards medical aid, plus funeral policy, plus life policy plus 5% Contribution towards Provident Fund

A Junior HSE Officer is required for a company based in Boksburg. The HSSE Officer will be in charge of all health and safety matters provide training and comply with all legal and company policies and requirements
Requirements
Grade 12 Essential
Relevant Tertiary Education Essential
A minimum of 2 years HSSE experience essential in an office environment
Own vehicle
Job Scope
Management of HSSE and Compliance Management systems in an office environment
Training for new staff and all related HSE issues, Tool box talks for staff, induction for HSE and any other related training requirements such as substance abuse, stress management, HIV/AIDS, safety when working hours on computers, general safety in the office etc.
Risk management
Management and administration of HSSE and compliance statistics
Management of IOD claims and administration
Experience in establishing a Safety Committee
Experience in Office Hazard Identification & 0ffice Safety Checklist
Requirements of HSE and also can do manual reports and has the experience of doing inspections and keeping things in compliance themselves.

Extra administrative duties as required by Management
Good command of the English business language, both written and spoken
Be able to work in a fast pace multi-task environment
Must be able to work in a highly pressurized environment
