Our client, currently one of the largest Adventure Tour Companies in Africa is seeking an experienced Junior In-house Graphic Designer to join their dynamic and vibrant team in the Cape Town CBD office.

Please Note Very Important - In order to qualify for this position you will need to present a creative portfolio of your work alongside your CV.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Conceptualizing, creating and producing designs for our company’s external marketing collateral (both online and in print) as well as internal - all in-line with our overarching brand style. Some examples; Brochures, booklets, flyers, posters, online graphics for our website, etc
Design of all social media and PPC online artworks
Design of online newsletters, news briefs, emailers, email signatures and banners
Creation of PowerPoint sales presentations, new business proposals, etc
On occasion, you will be required to assist in creating editorial content as well as doing basic in-house video editing / creation
Creation of large format stand artwork designs for trade shows and other events
To work with printers, photographers, videographers, copywriters and other freelance creatives.
Maintain a high standard of execution and attention to detail in all aspects of visual design, and ensure consistency at all times
To bring fresh ideas and approaches as well as perform any other duties as reasonably requested

Requirements for the position:

Own Reliable Transport
Appropriate tertiary qualification in graphic design required
1-3 years work experience is preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Technical knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
Technical knowledge and proficiency of the Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Working knowledge in Adobe Edge, After Effects, Dreamweaver and Flash is advantageous as is experience in HTML and CSS
From time-to-time the junior designer may need to work hours that aren’t typical, so a flexible approach is needed

Salary on offer: R12 000 -R14 000 (experience dependant) + Benefits
