JAVA DEVELOPER

A leading provider of payment solutions, transaction processing services and financial technology, is looking for Junior / Intermediate and Senior Software developers to join their Cape Town team.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Enhance existing software systems according to specific specifications
• Design software solutions that meet the business requirements and are easy to maintain
• Model technical solutions and document the technical designs. Maintain the technical documentation
• Develop software systems according to specifications
• Follow development policies and procedures
• Unit test developed code and assist with system testing
• Provide third-line support for developed code by fixing defects and developing enhancements
• Follow policies and procedures


Required Qualifications:

• BSc Degree or Equivalent

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 2 to 4-years’ experience
• Linux (essential)
• Java SE
• MySQL or equivalent
• Scripting in BASH and/or Python
• Experience with web site development. Angular, React, HTML, JavaScript and PHP. (advantageous)
• GIT (advantageous)
• Java8 (advantageous)
• Spring Framework (advantageous)
• Elastic Stack (advantageous)
• Gradle/Maven (advantageous)
