Junior Internal Auditor (AA/EE)

· Perform control effectiveness reviews of business processes.
· Perform ad hoc assignments (management requests/ project assurance, etc.).
· Prepare audit working documents.
· Prepare draft audit reports and discuss with appropriate levels of management.
· Update audit programs for execution.
· Perform on-the-job coaching/guidance to other junior staff.
· Ad hoc assistance to Internal Audit specialists and Internal Audit Managers.

Qualification and experience
· A completed B.Com degree in Accounting / Financial Accounting / Management Accounting or equivalent degree or Diploma in Internal Auditing and must have passed Auditing/ Internal auditing as a subject on a second year tertiary level.
· Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation obtained or studying towards a CIA designation will be to your advantage.
· Minimum of 2 years audit experience.
· Having worked in a Financial Services sector will be to your advantage.
· Basic understanding of the Business Approach to Internal Auditing.
· Understand the role of control models.
· Understand the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards and implementation guides as it relate to assignment execution.
· Understand the objectives and basic process flows of major business processes Information Gathering.
