Experience and Training:
Relevant post-matric Diploma /University degree
1-year experience / in similar field
Front end languages incl HTML
Back end languages e.g. Python and PHP advantageous
Driver’s license and own vehicle
Advanced computer skills including MS Word and Excel

Job summary:
Fetola is a small social enterprise based in Cape Town with a national network of stakeholders, and a dependency on technology solutions to ensure efficient and effective data management of multiple data sets.You will work in a small team whose role is to coordinate the IT requirements (software and hardware) for the company, and to ensure optimal uptime. In addition to day to day maintenance of the company’s current technology infrastructure you will play an important role in identifying, creating and implementing new solutions and systems. Responsibilities also include maintaining the company database and communications platforms.
You should have proven IT skills, and a passion for problem solving. You will have good communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Your role is of operational importance, and the responsibility that you will be given forms the basis of Fetola’s mainline support. For this reason, all work should be completed with diligence under supervision. Teamwork, two-way communication and the willingness to teach and to learn is critical.

Key Tasks:
• Day to day maintenance of IT infrastructure
• Creating new or improving data processing solutions
• Internal IT skills training – as required
• Hardware and software maintenance
• Website and email maintenance
• Creating and sending of monthly mailers
• CRM and database management
