Junior Operation Logistics Transport Controller – Logistics / Transport Cape Town & Surrounding Area's

Well established Logistics / Transport Company are looking for a Junior Controller with 2+ years FMCG / Logistics experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric, with Logistics Qualification an Advantage
Excellent communication kills
MS Outlook and good writing skills.
A professional and service driven approach to dealing with vendors and subcontractors.
Natural ability to organize, neat and punctual.
The ability and willingness to work long hours
Experience within a FMCG environment will be an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tracking and expediting of vehicles on-route to designated off-loading points
Continuously verifying vehicle positions on the tracking system
Communicating with drivers
Assist with the capturing of KPI’s and drafting reports
Assist with resolving POD queries
Capturing of loading and off-loading times
Assisting with pallet and material handling equipment return queries
