A leading environmental management Company, operating across Sub-Saharan African seeks a detail orientated, organised and self-disciplined individual who is able to work well under pressure to occupy the role of a Junior Payroll Administrator/Wage Timesheet Administrator. The incumbent will collate and capture Onsite timesheets/leave forms and assist with all administrative duties.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Wage timesheet and leave form administration
- Accurate data capturing i.e. timesheets, leave
- Assist with compilation of starter packs and termination packs for sending to HR admin for processing
- Facilitate completion of ATR’s and change of status for onsite

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect timesheets from the area supervisors.
- Ensure employee numbers and allocation codes are correct on the timesheets.
- Compiles a timesheet summary for onsite inland region weekly
- Ensures timesheet summary is authorized by the relevant managers
- Collects leave forms and ensures that leave applied is in line with timesheets submitted
- Follows up on errors and ensures correct hours are captured for all the onsite accounts
- Submits authorized timesheet summary to payroll for processing
- Files timesheet books
- Assist Line managers to complete ATR’s and Change of Status’s for the onsite department and ensure they are accurate and complete for sending through to HR admin for processing
- Assist Onsite with collation of HR starter packs for new employees and submit them to HR admin for processing.
- Assist Onsite with collation of termination documentation and submit to HR admin for processing
- Arrange pre-employment and exit medicals with the line manager and arrange dates with the Medical Centre
- Communicate with sites to notify the site supervisor with regards to annual medicals and book dates with the Medical Centre.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Timesheet administration experience
- 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
- Good communication skills
- Strong computer skills
