Leading National Lumber products producer in Jessievale requires a Junior Production Foreman.

Only South African citizens, who are suitably qualified, live in the applicable area and meet the requirements of the position are eligible to apply for this vacancy.

You would require the following for this position:

• Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
• National Diploma / BTech Wood Technology
• 2 Years’ relevant production experience
• Experience working as part of a production team
• Working in an production environment such as a sawmill
• Enjoy working with wood and timber products
• Have a Technical aptitude
• Be able to organize and control a number of processes
• Be able to supervise and motivate people
• Willing to work shifts
• Valid code 8 driver’s license and own transport

• Copy of ID Document
• Copies of Qualifications 

Your Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Achievement of departmental budgets
• Liaises with engineering team regarding mechanical problems and maintenance schedules, etc
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained
• Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with the OHS Act and company policies and procedures
• Continuous identification and taking action of areas of improvement
• Responsible for the day to day management of the department
