Our client is currently looking to hire a Planning Assistant for an open role. The successful candidate for this role will have great organizational and communication skills.

Requirements:

Matric
Tertiary qualification highly advantageous
Minimum 2 experience in a similar position
Experience in the construction / building industry
Must be able to cope under extreme pressure and work in a fast paced environment
Own reliable transport with a valid drivers license

Some duties but not limited to:

Opening of job cards
Ensure all relevant information is complete and correct
Calculate bill of quantity of materials
Generate orders for production scheduling according to standard lead times
Liaise with Buyer regarding any stock requirements
Ensure project scheduled on time and within budget as per quotation
Organize transport & accommodation for sub-contractors
Attend site meetings
Prepare progress report and distribute to relevant departments
Issue completion certificate on successful completion of project
