VACANCY: JUNIOR SAFETY OFFICER

International multi-disciplinary engineering group are looking for a Junior Safety Officer for a 1 year contract position on the North Coast to implement and maintain a system in accordance with ISO requirments and ensure the companys adherence to SHE legislation appropriate to the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Impliment and maintain a safety system in accordance with OSHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001:2004 enviromental.
2. Laise with staff, clients and suppliers in all areas concerned with safety
3. Assume responsibility for safety management for turnkey projects
4. Communicate with project teams the safety requirements needed to be implemented and maintained within a specific projects
5. Become au faits with clients project requirments and impliement as necessary
6. Implements and maintain requirements of the Occupational Health & Safefty Act 85 of 1993
7. Responsonsible for the safety of all buildings, grounds and security related to the allocated project.

REQUIREMENTS:
a). Grade 12
b). SAMTRAC
c). HIRA
d). First Aid Level
e). Incident / accident investigations
f). 3 + years experience
