A company in Midrand is looking for a Junior Sales Engineer who has recently graduated (BTech is preferred but National Diploma graduates will also be considered), but with about two years' working experience in at least technical sales.

Must have sales experience with automation products, such as PLCs and VSDs and SCADA and understand the concept of automation in irrigation, food processing and manufacturing. Without this please rather do not apply as you will not be shortlisted.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a 7 year old company who has established itself and is ready to further expand their operations in Gauteng and surrounds.

The company is looking for an eager, sales hungry, and Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering qualified person who can easily relate to agricultural and factory clients.

Must have a drivers licence and be able to go out to clients, prospective clients and to provide the client base with a technical solution and coordinate between clients and designers etc.

Full proficiency in both Afrikaans and English will be preferred, as effective communication with Clients in both Afrikaans and English is to be expected.

Must be a people's person, enjoy meeting new people as well as be administratively strong, including report writing and quoting.

Must have a basic understanding of an ERP system for quoting and requesting.

Earning potential is not limited, and commission is based on turnover.

Company vehicle and other support will be provided, however it is expected of the selected person to be able to work in both a team setting and individually, and to implement own time management while reaching targets. The company operates as a team spearheaded by its sales people.
