My Client is currently in the process of recruiting a Junior SHEQ Admin Assistant to join their vibrant team.

Key Responsibilities :
• Assist management with the implementation of the SHEQ management system
• Prepare SHE files & keep them updated
• Assist in updating the SHEQ Management system to accommodate changes in legislation and Industry Standards
• Liaise with various departments regarding SHE
• Report all incidents on the relevant documentation
• Assists with Investigation of all incidents & maintain documents
• Prepares for inductions & keep them up to date
• Update risk assessments as per requirement from SHEQ Manager
• Prepare weekly toolbox talks for all departments
• Ensure that relevant daily & monthly registers is prepared, distributed, properly done & keep record of them
• Conduct regular visual inspections on various company equipment and etc.
• Ensure that the office environment complies to all relevant legislation requirements
• Keep training records up to date
• Ensure that monthly safety meetings are held for the branch and noted
• Maintain the 5’s systems
• Attend safety meetings as required

Requirements

• Matric
• Minimum two years’ experience in safety
• Computer Literate
• Knowledge of SHEQ Legislation
• Fire prevention and emergency planning
• High attention to detail and the ability to work in a structured, accurate and organized manner.
• Good communication skills.
• Highly numerate and able to write good English
• Able to liaise telephonically with service providers in a professional manner
