Junior Software Tester - Stellenbosch
The Junior Software Tester's core responsibility is to work with Quality Assurance and Development team to develop and maintain Pro and Dynamic testing environment.
Key responsibilities are:
Responsible for assisting with test activities where required.
Develop and maintain the test plan and test schedules.
Work closely with the Software Development Team.
Track and maintain defect lists and aid development teams to aid resolution
Implementation of test methodology and processes.
Report directly to the QA and Development Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
2 years’ experience and knowledge in different software tools and techniques to deliver quality applications.
Proficient in the software environment as well as Office suite and mindmap tools. Required:
Ability to convince others of the right course of action.
Challenge workflows and business processes for improvement.
Ability to write clear and concise test scenarios, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with people at all levels.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
Able to work independently and take ownership of problems.
