Introduction: The Quality Assurance role is to ensure that all software is thoroughly tested and fulfils the requirements of the test cases to ensure high quality product releases.


KNOWLEDGE:
• Basic knowledge of testing principles/ techniques
• Ability to develop test cases, against business requirements
• Basic knowledge of testing processes within SDLC.
• Knowledge of usability standards
• Understanding of documenting system errors and replication steps
• Understanding of negative testing

SKILLS:
Microsoft Windows
• Basic – Intermediate Microsoft Excel & Word (2007/2010/2013)
• Problem solving skills
• Good written English skills
• Ability to test software against given test case and report on the results

EXPERIENCE:
2 year software testing experience
Basic Programming experience (includes small projects during studies)

QUALIFICATION:
IT technical certification/ qualification
Preferably BSc Comp Sci or Diploma (required for progression into QC and Software Development)
Quality Assurance/ Software Testing Certification (ISEB/ISTQB/SQAMM)
