12 Month Contract
 
We are currently looking for a Junior Operations Technical Engineer to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives.
 
What we expect you to do

• Working within a support team to support and maintain the IT infrastructure of the company’s clients
• 1st line & 2nd Line support of AD, Exchange
• 1st line support of SCOM & SCCM
• 1st & 2nd line support of Physical & Virtual servers
• 1st & 2nd line support of Backups
• 1st and 2nd line support of Mimecast; SPAM, archiving, mailbox retention policies and client side support.
• Manage software and Operating System updates and deployments 
• Completing daily health checks and escalating unresolved issues
• Problem resolution and troubleshooting
• Create and maintain technical and operational documentation
• Assist as a technical resource on projects, including management of smaller projects

Here's what we are looking for in candidates for this job

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in Server Administration
• Certifications preferred
• Business Application Implementation and Support
• Hands on infrastructure support
• General Understanding of network Architecture and Databases
