My client, a well-established engineering concern based in Somerset West, is seeking to employ an Integration/ Service Technician to join their team. The company specialises in development, manufacturing and support of machinery used in the fruit industry.

The Technician is responsible for:

• Integration and testing the electronic subsystems
• Master the setup of computers of the machines
• Site installations, service and fault finding
• Quality control
• Integration of mechanical product system

Requirements:

• Matric
• Post  Matric qualification in Electrical / Electronics (Diploma / Certificate)
• Minimum of two years’ experience in manufacturing environment
• Good communication and writing skills
• Previous experience in fruit industry will be advantageous
• Willing to work overtime when required
• Willingness to travel
• Valid driver’s licence
