We are recruiting a Junior Technician (S4 Qualification or studying towards a S4) for our client in Cape Town.

Job Description

Faultfinding on photographic and sport optics equipment.
Identification of required parts to repair unit to factory standard.
To repair camera by disassembling and assembling the units from a repair manual.
Comprehensively record reasons for malfunctioning products.
Complete and update service systems for quote for invoicing purposes.
Calibration of repaired photographic and sports optic equipment.
Cleaning and servicing of equipment.
Customer support.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

- Senior Certificate with S4 or studying towards S4 (LC)(Electronics)
- Solder, desolder experience upto factory standard, use of tools and jigs in photographic environment.
- Basic understanding of photography will be an advantage.
- 1-2 Years experience as trainee technician or junior technician, in a similar environment will be an advantage.
