Position: Junior Test Analyst
Area: Durbanville – Cape Town
Type: Permanent position
Salary: R15 000 p/m neg on exp

Core requirements and qualifications
• Completed matric with Maths
• ISEB / ISTQB Testing qualification or equivalent
• 1 year experience in IT test environment
• Good understanding of automation testing tools, testing web based software applications using Selenium & Java
• Capable of performing OS, VM and Software installations
• Understanding of IT management
• Good written and spoken English
• Manual and automated testing knowledge
• Experience in creating & maintaining testing environments
Preferable skills
• ISTQB Advanced Level Technical
• Test Analyst qualification
• Experience in working with Network Simulation tools e.g. MIMIC, GNS
• Web development experience
• Intermediate Operating Systems skills - Windows and/or Linux skills
Duties
• Contribute to Technical Testing (manual & automated) to meet testing requirements
• Perform software testing (front end, back, data validations) to complement existing UI Testing
• Performance Testing/ Reporting of software defects
• Able to work independently while delivering work outputs that meet the quality and standards of the employer
