A specialty engineering firm is looking for a Junior Traffic & Transportation Engineer for their Cape Town office.

Suitable applicants will have a BSc, BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering. Those with a Masters’ Degree in Transportation will have an advantage. Candidates should possess three to five years’ experience and be registered with ECSA as a Candidate Engineer and/or be in the process of registering professionally. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for conducting Transport impact studies, planning of public transport and non-motorised transport projects, and traffic signal design amongst other duties. Knowledge of Sidra and/or similar modelling software is required. As site visits will be required, a valid driver’s licence is essential.
