A world renowned engineering consultancy delivering high performance, environmentally responsible buildings is on the hunt for a Junior Wet Services Design Engineer ready to take on bigger projects within building services. Gain international project exposure and complete high end drawings and designs of wet services systems for office blocks, airports, shopping centres and hospitals.

Qualification:
BTech/NDip in Mechanical Engineering
Revit MEP Draughting Certificate (Advantageous)

Skills & Experience:
Draughting and designs of domestic water, fire and drainage piping details based on demand
Draughting and designs of P & ID’s and isometric drawing
Establishing pipe specifications and pipe design philosophy
Selection of valves, pumps, pipes and pipe fittings
Bill of Quantities
Checking and managing pipe designs to comply with piping design specific standards, client specifications
Coordination and follow up with architects, plumbers and engineers in the various building services
Handling of queries and complaints
Piping material procurement – provide advice to clients
4+ years designing and draughting of Wet Services Systems

Job Description:
Add immediate value to this fast paced engineering consultancy and assist the Senior Engineers by completing detailed drawings and designs of wet services systems for building services. Use your ability to work in a high pressure environment to complete top notch drawings of wet services systems that include plumbing, drainage, hot & cold water reticulation systems, waste water and sanitary ware systems. Other duties will include bill of quantities and checking and managing pipe designs to comply with the various piping design specific standards and client specifications.
