Our client in Durban is looking for and IT Key Account Manager to head up their vibrant IT sales team.
Requirements:- Matric
- Tertiary Sales Qualification (minimum 12-month certificate/diploma qualification) &/or Tertiary Management qualification
- 3 years successful Corporate Direct Sales experience
- 3 year successful Account Management experience
- 2 year ICT industry experience
- 3-5 years junior management experience
Skills / Experience:
- Account development skills
- Good prospecting, negotiation and presentation skills
- Client liaison and customer service principles
- Application of CRM and sales processes
- Sound understanding of telecommunications, networking & data
- Sound business acumen
- Good understanding of Human resource management principles
- Understanding of financial management principles
- Good strategic planning and execution skills
- Leadership and mentorship skills
- Computer literate
- Commitment shown towards achievement of company objectives
- Efficient and effective learner

Responsibilities:
- Accurate and efficient management of sales statistics and reports
- Efficient management of workflow procedures within areas of operational responsibility
- Creative and effective planning and implementation to ensure the achievement of relevant targets and objectives
- Responsibility for the achievement of retention and new sales budgets as set by EXCO
- Actively leading new sales and retention activities
- Customer data base information analysis
- Sales planning
- Management reporting
