Key Account Manager Trainee - Midrand
Salary – R580 000 CTC
Key Purpose Statement
To manage key accounts on behalf of the franchisor.
Requirements:
• Minimum requirement: Matric and completed sales and marketing qualification. Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing, would be advantageous.
• Minimum requirement: 5 years relevant FMCG experience in a sales and marketing environment.
• Experienced driver with a code 08 divers licence
• Computer literacy and relevant potential to acquire

Duties:
• Manage volume and revenue growth on behalf of the system by category (SSD’s, Water, Sport, Juice, RTD and Lemon Juice).
• Develop Customer Business plan against business deliverables.
• Ongoing basis workshops with customer regarding their independent business plans and utilises this information in developing future account plans.
• Set up and negotiate annual trading terms with customer.
• Set up promotional grid by pack and category, and support DC implementation of the plan.
• Manage promotional spend within the promotional framework and annual budgetary requirement.
• Manage the fund on behalf of the system.
• Takes new SKU listings to customer and implements.
• Negotiates permanent, promotional and ad hoc space with customer and manages.
• Carries out quarterly (or as per agreement) business reviews by customer.
• Attends and gives input at various business forums
• Carries out frequent trade visits to customer stores with relevant DC personnel
• Understand pack margin and pack role per customer to optimise RGM.
• Utilise market research and analysis, loyalty data etc to formulate programmes and feedback to customer.
• Develop, implement and/or manage account specific programmes, promotions and packs as required.
• Builds personal relationship with customer through various interactions such as charity sports days, customer conference participation, corporate golf days, host at local and international conferences and sporting occasions.
• Interacts at all levels within the organisation such as with MD, Marketing director, Food Execs, senior buyers, buyers and clerks.
