KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER sought by our client, a well-established international company in the food additive industry. The position is based at the offices in Johannesburg, and some domestic travel will be required.

Main responsibilities include:
Growing and enhancing the Company’s reputation in the industry
Meeting short and long term budget objectives
Identifying key strategic growth opportunities in the market and pursuing these to fruition
Pricing strategies, profitability and expenditure
Customer service and value offers within the region
Managing projects and initiatives with regard to business expansion in the area

Minimum requirements:
Commercial Degree / Bachelor Degree in Science
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the food industry (Or related Industry)
Sales & key account management
Industry knowledge
Commercial knowledge
Computer Literate (MS Word; MS Excel; MS PowerPoint)
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment, integrating different perspectives yet maintaining independent objectivity
High degree of self-motivation and mobility
Experience in working with different nationalities and cultures
Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, honesty and reliability

Salary is R700 000 CTC per annum negotiable for the right candidate and includes wonderful benefits and allowances.
