Key acounts manager for a Training & Compliance Service Provider in the dangerous goods industry
Need to be spontaneous and persuasive
Attention to detail as the role will also include some data capturing and gathering information from clients and updating database
Need to have good time management skills
Will have to be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other team members in order to achieve the team’s mission
Visit new and existing clients to offer service and product offerings
Develop and implement an account management strategy, that ensures customer success and new revenue generation
Through excellent account management, and new business development skills the successful incumbent will identify and capitalize on upsell opportunities within the current client base
Develop and maintain excellent product knowledge to ensure the benefits and value of all products are understood, communicated and ultimately well represented in the market.
Prepare timeous quotes and proposals in response to clients’ needs
Manage pipeline and activities accordingly
Gr 12 / Matric with minimum of 50% average and 50% for English first language, additional SA languages a definite advantage
Sales training not being given, so proven sales experience required
Experience in government tendering a definitive advantage
Training exposure essential
