KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGER TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Leading Telecommunications Company has a vacancy for a dynamic KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGER.
Essential requirements are a very strong sales person with a natural ability to be credible, reliable and who has a good work ethic.
MAIN JOB PURPOSE
To meet and exceed sales targets as prescribed. This is to be done by new business acquisitions as well as account maintenance of existing base and active retention strategies. Business segment strategy must drive this acquisition and activity.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
2 - 3 Years in ISP and GSM Sales is preferable
2 - 3 experience in acquiring new business (Cold Calling)
3 years’ experience with technology products and services would be advantageous
Minimum Matric.
Experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management.
Experience in the converged services market.
Understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Ability to achieve sales targets and drive new sales opportunities.
Knowledge of the telecoms technology and internet standards.
Ability to negotiate and operate in a pressurized environment.
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects from concept to delivery.
Committed to the concepts of technology enabled total quality selling.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE:
Good knowledge of Account Management and principles of effective customer service processes.
Knowledge and understanding of the corporate market and the converged services market.
Specialist knowledge of managing Sales and Targets.
General systems inter connectivity knowledge.
In-depth knowledge of the Telecoms industry products and services.
A broad understanding of the AAPC Sales Channel and business model.
Knowledge of current and relevant legislation and understanding of finance processes (budgets; acquisition and retention costs; forecasting; loan/consignment stock management; buy-out costings).
Knowledge of business processes, contracting, negotiating and change management.
Management by projects.
Strategic planning.
