Key Accounts Manager
Introduction

Our client, a reputable distributor specializing in purified drinking water systems is seeking an experienced, results-driven, Key Account Manager This person would be responsible to develop and maintain trust relationships with existing and potential customers in that region.

Duties include the following, but not limited to:

Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
The “handover of systems” and “refresher” training to existing customers and other client service requirements
Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal an external stakeholder using key account metrics
Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent
Degree
3-5 years’ experience in key accounts, customer service and administration (non-negotiable)
Excellent computer skills & knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Must have a valid Driver’s Licence and own reliable vehicle
Willing to travel around the Gauteng region
Salary: R25 000 – R30 000 depending on experience
