• Must have passed Matric / Grade 12 well and have good results
• National Diploma - Sales and Marketing or equivalent
• Min 5 years’ external sales experience
• Experience in a manufacturing industry
• MS Office and SAP experience
• Responsible and accountable for achieving the sales budget
• Maintain and improve gross profit
• Increase market share in existing markets and develop new markets to increase sales
• Assist the Debtors person with customer accounts and ensure account queries are resolved timeously
• Inform the New Product Development Department of new products and assist with design specifications
• Ensure that new products identified are managed throughout the new product development process
• Ensure products are produced and delivered on time and meet customer expectations
• Measure customer satisfaction
• Liaise with the Quality Department with regards to quality issues raised by the customer
• Generate quotes and tenders
• Present sales figures and sales reports to management on a weekly basis
• Draw up, maintain and submit customer calling schedule on a weekly basis
• Build and maintain customer relations within the Bus, Rail, Earth Moving and Leisure industries (caravans).
