Dedicated experienced manager to run 90-100 seaters in an up market restaurant. Required to have skills in budgets and costings, preparation and planning etc.
Duties:
Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
• Must be able to lead a team and control all kitchen departments (staff x 12)
• Food preparation and presentation
• Managing the kitchen efficiently
• Monitoring all stock and food items being used in the kitchen
• Any other duties and tasks required by the owner
• Stock take and stock control
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Any other duties and tasks required by the owner
Requirements:
• Matric
• Own reliable car with valid drivers
• 2 years relevant restaurant experience
• Ability to work flexible hours – ideal person lives in the CBD or close by.
• Experience on Micros - advantageous
