Knowledge Management Officer – Pretoria – Medical Scheme – 12 Months Contract

Job Summary
To lead, plan and support the implementation of the Knowledge Management Strategy. This will involve working closely with the Senior Manager: Corporate Service to agree on planning priorities and work plans.


The following Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) are critical:

? Promote Knowledge Management
? Provide Knowledge Management Support
? Facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems
? Data Protection
? Strategic Business Continuity Support


Requirements
? Diploma Information Science NQF Level 6 / Bachelor’s degree in Information Science or ICT or Library Science or related fields in Knowledge Management
? Postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage
? 3– 5 years’ work experience with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in Knowledge Management Implementation
? Implementation and Understanding and Business Continuity environment, planning and practices
? Attention to detail is non-negotiable
? Excellent Turnaround and Organised with good time management skills
? Sound Project Management skills are critical
? Analytical and the ability to manage multiple priorities
? Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
? Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team
? Computer literate at advanced level
? Diligent work ethic with attention to detail
? Self-motivated and pro-active
? Resilient pressure management abilities


Desirable
? Understanding of medical schemes industry
? Membership or accreditation with a professional body
