La Mercy (near Durban), KwaZulu Natal: CAR RENTAL SHIFT SUPERVISOR
Minimum Requirements:
-BBBEE (black) male
-Strong English proficiency (speak, read, and write)
-Matric / Grade 12
-Car rental experience essential (KEY REQUIREMENT)
-Supervisory/management experience essential (KEY REQUIREMENT)
-Valid unendorsed Code 08/EB driver’s licence
-Proven experience in managing a team of at least 5 direct reports
-Proven experience in Car Rental Operations environment
-Computer literate and proficient in MS Word
-Customer focussed,
-Good Planning & organizing, decision making and command skills
-Reliable and trustworthy
-Good stress tolerance
-Able to manage diversity
-Must be willing to work weekends and public holidays
-Must be willing to work outside normal working hours when required
-Adhere to company dress code and uniform (Uniform partly subsidized by Company)
-Neat and clear handwriting
-Able to attend to inside and outside work, irrespective of weather conditions (Position entails being on feet for most of the shift)
-Stable employment record and contactable References
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Car Rental Shift Supervision for Car Rental Company situated at King Shaka International Airport
-Report to Branch Manager
-Provide exceptional customer service at every opportunity
-Provide accurate and timeous information to our customers
-Managing a team of approximately 10 staff, monitoring performance, accuracy and customer interactions
-Ensure all bookings and special requests are met
-Check-outs, check-ins, vehicle exchanges etc.
-Keep management informed of competitive rates/competition in the market
-Daily administrational duties
-Handle queries
-Ensure adherence to the company policies and procedures
-Maintain the corporate image of the organization
Salary: R 6 000.00 – R 8 000.00 gross maximum (Depending on relevant supervisory experience)
