LABORATORY ANALYST

The incumbent will be responsible for the following key functions:
? accurate chemical analyses of all wines in order to ensure high quality wines
? efficient record keeping of analyses
? reporting of results and deviations
? personnel management
? risk management
? maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
? administration
? general laboratory practices.

The ideal candidate has:
? a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Food Science / Chemistry, etc.)
? at least 3-5 years laboratory experience in wine analyses
? previous experience in a managerial position will strengthen the application
? excellent analytical and numerical skills
? well-developed interpersonal skills
? strong leadership skills with the willingness to accept ownership
? ability to function effectively within a team. Knowledge of Ezywine and food safety standards will strengthen the application.
