Well established production company requires a Technician (Laboratory / Development) who will manage and maintain the air laboratory, and also the make-up of prototypes, samples, one-offs and special items
REQUIREMENTS ARE:
• Relevant technical qualification/Engineering Diploma/Degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronic, Electrical)
• Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
• Microsoft office (Excel, and Access)
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
• Ensuring infrastructure for laboratory is in place
• Update and maintain test procedures / equipment
• Ensure that all tests are carried out as per procedure
• Assume full responsibility for day to day management of test facility
• Assist with CAE analysis tasks as directed
• Administration of documentation
• Testing of liquid and air filtration products
• Making of prototypes of components and assemblies
• Keep development area in safe and clean condition and ensure of machinery /equipment
• To identify actual or potential problems and initiate remedial or preventive measures
• To implement QA policies and QC procedures affecting areas under his control.
• Maintain and update information timeously and correctly
• Maintain and update test register
• Housekeeping and safety
