Leading explosives manufacturer is looking for a Laboratory Technician to assist laboratory personnel in daily routine work, less complex laboratory projects and assignments, consumable stock control and cleaning

Qualifications:

Matric with Science and Math’s

Diploma in Chemistry

Comp lit on MS Office and Data Bases

Comp lit

Experience:

Min 3-5 yrs exp in analytical laboratory and in if in manufacturing that is adv

Execution of routine laboratory tests i.e gassing of emulsions samples, viscosity and density measurements

Testing of oil samples

Assist laboratory personell with projects

Consumable and glass ware stock control

Good housekeeping of the laboratory

Skills:

Valid license

Sober habits

Physically fit and mobile

Personal drive for carrer development

Proven written and verbal communication skills

Must be able to work independently

Initiative and tenacity

Great attention to detail
