Labour Law Consultant

This is an opportunity for an experienced Labour Law Consultant to join our team based in the North West.

The incumbent will consult to our client base and also grow the client base.


The key performance areas of the Labour Consultant will be:
• ensuring client compliance with IR policies and procedures;
• competent and professional handling of grievance-, capacity, disciplinary procedures and restructuring on behalf of clients;
• providing proactive and ongoing guidance and advice to clients in respect of a wide spectrum of IR matters arising at workplaces;
• representing clients at CCMA / Bargaining Council hearings;
• Growing the client base.

It will be preferable for applicants to have a Bachelors Degree in Law as well as a minimum of 5 years' experience, including appearing at the CCMA / Bargaining Councils in matters falling under their jurisdiction, including disputes referred in terms of the Employment Equity Act to the CCMA.
Having an existing client base in North West and surrounds will be an advantage.
