Matric, Formal education would be an added advantage. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Two years' experience in a supervisory role
Possession of a valid driver’s license
Knowledge of volume laundry methods, materials, and practices to include the operation and maintenance of washers, extractors, tumblers, presses, and flat work ironers.
Knowledge of health and safety hazards present within a laundry unit and effective precautionary measures.
Knowledge of labor law and IR processes.
Knowledge of textiles and of proper cleaning methods and materials.
Skill in operating and in making minor repairs on laundry machines and equipment.
Must be willing work long hours and maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the Laundry Manager.
