Job Description:
The incumbent will be responsible for installation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure and will be required to maintain various plant and project installations according to sound engineering practice and equipment specifications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician with Trade Certificate at recognized /accredited institution**
• Valid Public Driver’s License Code EB (08)
• 5 years’ experience as an Electrician in a plant/project environment
• At least 3 years’ experience in the maintenance and operation of MV switchgear and distribution transformers
• At least 3 years’ experience in MV switching with valid ORHVS certificate
• Knowledge of basic protection schemes and metering systems
• Should have proven ability to understand MV panel control wiring circuit diagrams
• Ability to do fault finding on MV control panel should be seen as major advantage
• PC Literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows System

Other Skills / Competencies

• Pass Vienna Assessment (Level 2) - (test to be tested at location )
• Ability to communicate in English (written & verbal) and one other official language
• Planning, leading and organisational abilities
• Independent, proactive thinking, motivated and have the ability to do own job planning
• Electrical Construction work and planning thereof
